Our Subterra story began in 2016 when we first had the idea to bury our finest barrel of Shiraz under the biodynamic vineyard from where the fruit was picked from the vines only weeks earlier.
We believe that we are the only winery in the world that ages a barrel buried in the vineyard earth.
The Subterra Shiraz is an exceptional and unique Shiraz, a wine truly made in the vineyard.
With only one barrel buried, Subterra is an extremely limited wine.
